Pilot Companies Processing with Purpose

Launched in May 2025, a group of forward-thinking food and beverage companies participated in a six-month pilot of the Non-UPF Verified program. These pilot brands partnered with us to challenge the status quo of ultraprocessed food by helping to shape a new standard for responsible, transparent processing. By evaluating select products through this lens, they’re redefining what thoughtful formulation looks like — and helping us set the stage for a healthier, more informed food system.
